Amherst College in Amherst, Massachusetts was founded in 1821. It is small, highly selective liberal arts college with a student body of 1,650 students. Notable graduates include President Calvin Coolidge and Da Vinci Code author, Dan Brown.

Amherst is probably the most selective of the "Little Ivies"...It's students are on the snobby side
