Colby College

Colby College in Waterville, Maine was founded in 1813. It is small, highly selective liberal arts college with a student body of 1,800 students. Notable graduates include abolitionist Elijah Lovejoy and historian Doris Kearns Goodwin.

Colby is the "jock" school of the Maine "Little Ivies"

Colby is a very well-rounded school with overwhelmingly kind and friendly people; there are neither too many snobs, nor too many jocks. Its academic programs, especially psychology, are becoming top-notch fast, if they were not already.
